KCAK is located off of I-77 between Akron and Canton. It's a great regional airport ever since AirTran and Frontier Low Cost Carriers initiated service. Flights from KCAK to destinations such as Florida are flown in full size mainline (Boeing 717) jets, whereas a majority of flights from Cleveland Hopkins are now serviced by small regional jets with tight seating and limited carry-on space.

Its actually in a City called Green, they just recently gained city status....(they use to be a township), which is a suburb of Akron. Its exactly 8 miles from the city limits of Akron. (Closer to Akron than Canton)

It's in between them, and it's an easy airport to fly into/out of since it's not crowded.
