Trying to learn ALL the functions would be an incredibly lengthy task, and largely pointless as they are well documented in the help files.

Programming in Excel (one L) is possible, but only through VB scripting. If you are only using Excel's spreadsheet functionality, then you cannot rightly call it programming - you are merely setting up a spreadsheet.

The best way to learn is to get a book and work through them. It isn't really programming at all. It has much more to do with math.
