If someone could just comment with a link or a book to film adaptation that they would love to see in a magazine, please can you let me know? I'd appreciate any suggestions, from film release about a month ago up till now (or anything that's going to be released, up till March) Thank you! x

the only recent release that is a book adaptation was Eragon and might i just say that i thought it was the most disappointing book adaptation i have ever seen!!! I have read the book and I absolutely LOVE it and they completely trashed it! Everything was in the wrong order, the guy who plays Eragon can't act to save his life and the entire thing just left you thinking that it was a bit short and needed a bit more.

The book adaptation of Northern Lights by Phillip Pullman is currently being made...not sure when it's going to be released but I already have complaints about it. They are going to call it The Golden Compass...??? Is it really that hard to just use the name the author gave it? And that guy that played the new James bond is to be Lord Asriel...I seriously couldn't believe it when I heard. I always imagined Lord Asriel to be tall dark and handsome...the complete opposite to the guy playing him (I apologise but I can't remember his name lol).

Well, I think that's all I have to say apart from the fact that I think that we should all just stop making film adaptations and leave good books alone instead of turning them into crappy films, like the Harry Potter series.
