I was raised Muslim and hid my homosexual tendencies and NEVER disclosed them. It is considered haram (Islamically illegal).
I prayed a lot asking Allah for forgiveness and to make me heterosexual and was depressed because I never changed my views on liking and loving women. I was so depressed behind it because I couldn't be myself completely. I felt like I was living a lie. Even when I got married, I hid it from my then-husband for fear of it getting out that I liked women in an intimate fashion. I'm divorced now.
I decided that I couldn't be an active Muslim anymore due mainly to my being bisexual and just live spiritually conscience now.

Yes, you can convert to Islam and not face punishment as long as stop doing your evil deeds, and sincerely repent to God he will forgive you as he is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Merciful. The death penalty for homosexuals can only be carried out in an Islamic country, provided the participants were caught IN THE ACT.
So yes as long as you truly want to repent and start living a pious, righteous life you can convert and God will forgive you as long as you are sincere in your heart.

or when was the last time ur religion and faith accepted people? u cant pressurize someone when it comes to faith. Allah knows best. no man can actually ever convert for another man/woman. and no one should ever try converting someone else. Allah has said spread the word not make them beleive it. From the Quran: 18:29 And say: "The truth [has now come] from your Sustainer: let, then, him who wills, believe in it, and let him who wills, reject it." we can only tell people about islam not make them beleive it. making them beleive in islam is Allah's job. as Allah says "Verily! I shalt guide those whose hand is in mine" Allaah is a better guide than any man. if they are willing why should anyone stop them, similarly if they want to leave then no one has the right to judge and punish, except Allah. no man should take the authority of judging and punishing. becoz as humans we all are "error-prone" so what if a person is gay. why, dont u consider them humans.?wow, what is that hate for,huh? and what does ur tolerant religion teach u, huh? to bad mouth another human or to cuss at someone's beleif? well what makes u think u are better than them? u are even uglier at heart. grow up and stop whining about homosexuals and islam.

Islam forbids Homosexuality just like the Bible does.
I dont understand why a homosexual would want to "convert" to Islam knowing this.
Unless he wants to try not to be Homosexual (if thats possible??).

You cant do anything in Islam without risking being beheaded. Think about how they treat women-They certainly wouldnt accept a outspoken gay person.

It probably depends on what country you are in or who you are surrounded by, just like with Chrisitanity. I'm mostly positively sure there are some gay Muslims out there somewhere....But you can be gay without being flambouyant or anything and just keep it on the downlow I guess...

no they would be stoned or killed, i think they would have to practice it in the closet lol, i think there are many homosexual muslims that nobody knows about they get married and live like the quran intended them too :)

No, it is forbidden and they don't take prisoners. If I were gay I would think the LAST religion that would be of any interest would be Islam.
