there can be lots of reasons why periods stop. if you have lost or gained a lot of weight recently - if your are under a lot of stress - if you are taking meds - lifestyle can contribute aswell, for example if your not sleeping enough. i wouldn't worry too much if there are not other symptons, it's probably worth going to a doctor just to get checked out.

Go to the Doctors. It could be Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome or it could be nothing, just stress or your age. But going the doctors is the only way to find out!

going on a strict diet, stress, underlying gynaecological prob as examples - go see your doctor or if you're in the Uk and don't want to go to doctor - ring the NHS helpline and discuss with a nurse

this used to happen to my wife when we were younger it generally is related to stress, go and see the doctor to put your mind at rest
