they sneeze alot?! i must sneeze 20 times a day .. im not exaggerating!
and my ears get itchy!..with excess wax buildup.. and hiccups! i wake up in the morning with the hiccups!
i know most of this is probably normal, sneezing like mad, hiccups all the time, and itchy ears?! lol
im almost 16 weeks preg and what my body is going thru makes me laugh.. any other women go thru any of these things? i hope im not alone!

Oh yes.!!! From the time before I found out I was pregnant (meaning I hadn't taken the test yet) to the now at 12 weeks and 3 days I am a sneeze magnet. My nose also bleeds from time to time. It's really odd because I never had allergies or colds until I got pregnant. My ears are itchy from the fluids that go into your ears from sinuses and sometimes they are even clogged. It was worse for me with the ear wax buildup when I was in my first trimester but the sneezing is gettting worse near my second....go figure. Don't worry these things are common. :) Yeah, the changes our body goes through can be laughable.....and cryable as well.......darn those hormones!!! Either way good luck with the remainder of your pregnancy.

Well I am just about 16 weeks Gestation and I read that throughout the pregnancy your nose runs a lot - like you have a head cold all the time. That will bring on the sneezing. I only had hiccups once so far. My ears are a bit itchy but so it every where else. I am getting red blotches around my nose and is very uncomfortable as well as other breakouts on my face. Isn't it so much fun to be prego!!?? Congrats to you!

Hey! Me too! I am 24 weeks pregnant and I sneeze 10-15 times a day...my nose bleeds (not gushing, but dry blood when I blow my nose) plus I am always stuffed - which is why I am sneezing so much.
I get the hiccups, but not a constant hiccups, more like a huge loud one every other hour-I think it is the baby puching up against the diaphragm?
Also, farting is getting a little more frequent..but it is all worth it when you feel the baby hiccup or start kicking like crazy because it is getting tight in there!

I don't know about hiccups, but both itchy/waxy ears and sneezing are symptoms of allergies. They may also be symptoms of something else too, but it could be that you have happened to develop an allergy? Allergies can develop at any time in your life. Maybe it's best to check it out with your doctor, just to be sure. Congratulations, and good luck!!

Yes I sneez all the time and have a stuff nose. I am almost 23 weeks and it has been that way since I entered my 2nd trimester. I read that the increased hormones causes this in some women. If you start getting really bad nasal congestion like I did for awhile, my doctor says Sudaphed is OK and it really helps.
