it holds hdd, cpu, fans, dvd/cd drive, usb, ram, video card etc ^_^

Many people say the CPU is the "Brain" of the computer.
I don't believe that , the cpu is more like the "heart" , and the Motherboard is the brain of the computer.
Because the motherboard allows all the hardware to communicate with each other.

The motherboard is the 'body' of the computer and the CPU is the 'brains'. The mobo connects everything together so they may communicate and work together.

Mother Board is just the name given to the main circuit in our PC....Other smaller circuits fit into this which are called daughter boards..like the sound card or the display card or even the internal modem..
