sounds like my friend erik... he's a total loser but i still hang out with him anyways...

Try telling her what you honestly think about her.It may hurt her , but thats the only way she would know.And you would only be a real friend if you were truthful with her.If that dosent change anything about her, let her be and continue to be a good friend to her.If she does not have a problem with being a loser , there is no reason why you should....

Come on-no one is a "total loser" just tell her that the things she's doing is really extremist behaviours that not everyone will accept and certainly when she is with you tell her how those behaviours make you feel and ask her to stop it. If she does, then you have gained a friend, but if she continues, then you need to find someone else to hang with.

You're not a very good friend, are you? If you were you wouldn't call her a loser and you'd accept her for who she is. Why do you even hang out with her, if you don't like her?

she may must be trying for attention. come right out and tell her that people are talking about her doing things like that and that she needs to build up her confidence instead so that she doesn't have to resort to doing things like that for attention.
