Yesterday I heard a divorced guy say that if he had not gotten divorced he would be a murderer. The guy he was talking to said, "I'm half-way there." What is so difficult about women, and how can I prevent myself from thinking this way whenever I am married?

It's just a figure of speech. All it means is that they become very frustrated with their wives. You can avoid frustration by keeping up good communication with your wife, which is a lot more work than it sounds. Also, if you behave responsibly and maturely in marriage, your wife will be much less likely to "nag" you and this will prevent a great deal of frustration.

Those men have some serious problems if they think that murder is a viable option in a marriage. The best way to prevent this type of thinking would be to marry someone that you love and respect and to stay away from people with that type of mindset.

Seriously, sometimes people just get to you.

The judge during our divorce made us attend 4 counseling sessions during the 2 month waiting period between filling and finalizing.

In one of the counseling sessions, the counselor asked how I felt sometimes. Here is my answer:

"Well, you know how sometimes you lay there in the bed while your wife is sleeping, just thinking about stuff. We argue so much, there were times I would lay there and have to literally tell myself not to stick the pillow over her face".

Now, I was joking, but also making a point. The point they are getting across is that they could not have taken much more time being married to her.

that's because those dudes are psychos. And they were psychos even before they got married. It's a damn wonder any woman accepted them in the first place. Any man that hits or uses any kind of violence against his wife or girlfriend is really not a man at all. Case closed. And those @ssholes who do such terrible things to women will get their retribution one day....guaranteed.

If a wife you devote your entire energy to cheats on you and your children with a psycho man that treated her much worse than you and beats her....causes you to have to relocate ( for your own safety) ...the rippling effects of moving and getting new job ( I had a great job before)....taken responsibility of your children all on your own... can cause you to lose everything you worked for.....and when you sit back and think of why you are struggling today...IT REALLY MAKES YOU ANGRY TO THINK...that behind infedility, you didn't see coming, has you and your children where you are today.....financially drained and strained!....TELL ME WHAT THOUGHTS YOU WOULD HONESTLY HAVE?

sounds more like posturing to me...just trying to make themselves look tough and "cool" to each other, because the standard among married and divorced men is to hate or despise the woman they thought they loved. you just need to follow your own heart and be true to it. if you love your wife, then don't be ashamed of that. if you set the new standard, like boasting about how beautiful she is or how great she is in bed or the kitchen or what-have-you, then other men in your group will feel more at ease about admitting their love for their wives. it's all just stupid "peer pressure," and usually doesn't mean squat. hope this helped you! good luck in finding the woman of your dreams.

What kind of people do you know? I’ve heard some men say some pretty bad things about their ex, but I’ve never heard one say that he wanted to kill her.
