There is a school of thought in the UK that is trying to defend her actions as being due to her atrocious upbringing being the offspring of a disabled/druggy mother and a father who died of a heroin overdose. She was brought up in poverty and in an area where racial tension is high. She herself is of mixed race as her grandfather was "black".
I am not trying to justify her comments but open it up to you that being from that background and not being a celeb for anything other than shooting her mouth off, is it not entirely her fault or should she suffer her loss of celebrity de to her needless comments and horrible actions towards an India woman who handled it with more grace than I myself could muster under the circumstances.
All Jade needed to say to have stopped this when it started, if she was smart enough to think of it, was "I am not a racist but I didn't like Shilpa". If it is a clash of personalities then why on earth didn't she say so instead of agreeing with the papers?
