What is the best way to get Karaoke gigs?

Should you send out flyers to 100 locations or go around and stop at each bar and talk to the manager? What gets the best results? How many locations do you have to solicit to get one job? I'm looking to pick up 3 gigs and wondering how I should go about it.

i would either call around to the bars and night clubs or walk in and ask who i would need to speak to about it and if they already have a karaoke DJ. Also put the flyers out for privet parities like weddings and stuff.
