Does it give you can error message?

If it is randomly rebooting most likely cause is that you have a virus. Try logging into windows in safe mode (I think its F5) just keep hitting the buttom as soon as you turn on your computer, and run a virus scan. It could also be faulty memory. You said you downloaded limewire, well the gnutella network is FILLED with virus, keyloggers trojan and **** files, I dont recomend it.

If the screen is freezing but not rebooting, eg the screen freezes, keyboard or mouse dont work etc. and you have to manually turn off and on the computer it could be caused by an overheating system try opening the case and cleaning it with some compressed air.

if you can manage this without it restarting
go to start/all progs/accessories/system tools/system restore
and restore comp to before these progs were installed
if it keeps restarting before you can do this, restart your comp and tap f8 i think it is while its loading up. and select start in safe mode then try the system restore again.
if all this fails do the safe mode thing then when its loaded go to-
start/run
type in msconfig
click the start-up tab, then look through the list and uncheck all these progs that may cause the problem and any other suspicious prog
N.B. DO NOT UN CHECK ANY MICROSOFT ONES OR ONES THAT YOU ARE UNSURE OF

this should stop these progs starting automatically then you can go and uninstall them separately

Goto:

Start/run and enter "msconfig" and then goto startup and uncheck the programs you dont need at boot. (this would include limewire and AVG).
You can start these manually after the boot.
It sounds like your memory is being occupied by boot utilities.

Use System Restore and restore to a date prior to those installs. When you finish this, don't reinstall all of those programs at one time. Wait a couple of days between each install. Then you will know which one is the culprit.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
