True story -- I had to spend the night on the beach alone about 4 years ago. I had no means of escape (long story). There were exactly 17.4 million mice on the beach -- and me. At the beginning of the first night I was totally freaked out. They would run across my hand or my foot and I would scream bloody murder. They got into all our food so there was nothing to eat. By the time my night on "mouse beach" was over I could have just picked one up and tossed it out of the tent with no reservations. Mice don't bother me much now. I could have gone to a therapist and paid $60 an hour for this "aversion therapy" but I got it for free!!!
