How can catch No.235(Color dog)in gold or silver version of pokemon?

go outside so that the light hits the game boy just right then move to the largest body of water in the game equip your bike ride all the way around it and you a healing potion kick yourself in the @ss and get a life

ok smeargle isn't a dog smeargle's a painter form what the pokedex says in my silver pokedex here's a few tips- 1-smeargle
come out in the day & natu come out at night 2- take a water pokemon with u and buy some max repel in blackthorn for $700.
pay attention 2 my smeargle instructions ready- fly 2 azalea town
and head right all the way to the rt 33 tunnel go inside and turn left
until u see a set of steps(use your repel) go up and take the ladder down go 2 your right in the middle use your water pokemon and surf up and right and up and right again where u see the guy go from there u will see a little door go through when u come out u will see a boy and the grass smeargle can be found in that grass only. hope i helped good luck :)

Do you mean Smeargle? I don't think it's a dog. But anyways, the only place to find it is in a patch of grass in the Ruins of Alph. But to get to that point, you'll have to use the tunnel between Violet City and Azalea Town. Look for a ladder to use on the first floor to get there and be sure to have pokemon with Strength and Surf.
