hey i got an orange amp and i buy total guitar magazine and in that it has artist and it tells u how to get the right sound but it only good for the marshall amp but i dont under stand the orange 10 watt crush amp has in order low,mid,high,master,gain2,gain1 master is volume but i dont under stand the rest please help i wnat a good sound distorted a bit like a punk green day sound please thanks help meeeeeeee

You need to put some full stops in here!

The low, mid and high are tone controls (bass, mid and treble), if you have higher low and middle, there will be a deeper overdraft in addition to the gain, which will produce its own distortion sounds. Alot of rock stars use orange, Marshal are very over-rated. Just play about with the knobs and see what you like the sound of, but don't forget it will also sound very different when played quietly compared to when really cranked up.

Orange makes great amps. Upgrade to a tube amp though.

Dude you got an orange as a beginner amp?? B*****d!!! wont actually answer the question as everyone else here has it right,
PS green day used to be good (early 90's, dookie period) now they suck.

low mid and high are the tone settings, gain is to create the more overdriven/distortion sound. fiddle with the gain till you get the sound you want

turn the gain up then, and then kill yourself because you like crap music
