I'll be moving to LA and will look for a job in government. Are there a lot of government jobs in LA?

State, county, city, federal. I have a degree, for what that's worth, which is really not much.

The best thing for you to do at this point is to go to the following site and register for the free job boards. Then you can browse the listings for LA and if there is something there you like you can initiate contact online. You can also post your resume if you have one and you degree is definately worth something
