Read Plato's Symposium for the classical statement on what beauty is. Aristotle also associates beauty with proportion and symmetricality, if memory serves me correctly. Beauty is not merely subjective or in the eyes of the beholder. God sets the ultimate standard for what beauty is; beauty does not depend on the ever-changing sands of time or human whims.

Beauty:
"The quality present in a thing or person that gives intense pleasure or deep satisfaction to the mind, whether arising from sensory manifestations (as shape, color, sound, etc.), a meaningful design or pattern, or something else (as a personality in which high spiritual qualities are manifest)."
Beauty is what you make of it; the beauty of "beauty" is that the beauty you perceive is only known to you. No matter how well you try to explain how beautiful something/someone is to you nobody will ever truly know of the beauty you see in something/someone. That appreciation you have towards "it" is private to you.

Be more specific please ? What beauty ? Or beauty as an absolute concept ? Baudelaire, if you read French, has written a poem about it, that starts like this:
"Do you come from deep heaven, or are you from abyss

There is no right answer to your question. Beauty, as everyone says, is just in the eye of the beholder. It is more related to an emotion than to a certain object.

Beauty is relative.. It depends on how a person sees something or another.. What may be beautiful to you may not be beautiful to another person..

the more expensive the more beautiful...media + cosmetic + plastic industry designates it...nothing that can be obtained without spending money fits the term "beautiful"
