Haven't been but last time I was dropping off my wife at the airport, there was several Emirates flights headed to Dubai full of Brits.

Many British people, like others, too, have been to Islamic countries since the Iraq crisis. They even live together PEACEFULLY with all other Nations, also Iranis and Iraqis. All Europe Expats get treated very well and with respect before and after the crisis.
Muslims in Islamic countries do not blame individuals for what their Govt. in Europe or USA deceides.

These questions REALLY irratate. Why would ALL Islamic countries be affected by the war in Iraq? Most of them prefer to stay out of all trouble as they rely too heavly on tourist ie Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Dubai etc. The Middle East is a fantastic and amazing part of the world to visit with many beautiful sites to visit.
Did anyone ask how many people stopped going to Eurpean countries when Croatia and Yugoslavia etc were fighting? Would that stop you from travelling to France? No well the same goes.
Sorry but I think people are not thinking when they ask questions like this!

I went to Saudi Arabia 2 weeks after the initial invasion of Iraq and suffered no problems although I was a little nervous. Since then I have been in Turkey and Pakistan once each and Indonesia and Malaysia several times each as well as changing planes in Dubai. I have not detected any anti British feeling against me.

yeah mate i agree with H, she's right i'm living here in Dubai and the people here are neat, they treat us better than they treat their own people! I'm quite surprised actually, and to relate your question to this topic, it's the Iraqis i recieve the best from than any other muslims which quite shocks me at time.. leaves me wondering why we went to war against such nice intelligent people...blimey

Been there .... well people are living here peacefully without any problems, its not that Muslim countries have any hatred against Non Muslims.

as far as I know (I leave in Nigeria though I'm Italian) I've noticed many whites left under embassy's advice but not actually because of Iraqi, but in general (oil especially)
