Listen my dear------, Venom is only poisonous when injected into blood by the bite of an animal. When ingested, it is hydrolysed by hydrolysing enzymes-----and its toxicity is lost. Animal can ingest any venom containg animal, as the venom goes into gut not into blood.Here it is deactivated when digested or hydrolysed. Howerver, when in blood it causes serious damages to cells, tissues by destroying important metabolites especially the enzymes.

Because its their own venom, if ingested by another spider it may be harmful to it but not enough to kill it as the stomach acids would quickly destroy it.
Venom kills because it is ingested to the blood stream and pumped around the body, not because it is eaten.
