I don't see why not. I'm pretty sure they have them there too. If the dog is up to date with their shots, I don't see why you would have a problem. The only thing that I know that you can't keep in Australia are hamsters....

I've seen Poodles crossed with Everything from Maltese, to Spaniels, to Jack Russels at Pets Paradise.

I’m sure you’ll find one if you look around, just don’t ask for the breed “maltipoo,” ask for “a cross between a Maltese and a Poodle,” that way the staff will actually know what you want.

… Maltipoo… of all the things you could name a breed… what about Maloodle? So much cooler…

Well, do they have both Maltese and Poodles in Australia? I'm sure they do. Maltipoo's are maltese/poodle mixes. BTW, not a breed but a mutt. Not to say mutts aren't nice, some of my favorite dogs are mutts.
