When I convert a Microsoft Word document to a PDF file on my PC (Windows XP Professional), on printing it out the header on each page, says "PDFmailer.com. Print and send PDF files as Emails with any application" etc. on a yellow band at the top of each page. Is there any way of overcoming this problem?

i use the following free option. but there are more. 1. I use the adobe ps driver ( awailable on their website for free). it prints any document to 'ps' format. 2. next I have the free ps2pdf converter which converts the 'ps' file into pdf. The output is good but has certain disadvantages like loss of some 'technical information'. But if the only aim you are generating is to 'read' it then i think it's ok. I think the whole process can be written into a script too. which can be executed at will. good luck

What are you using to do the convert, I use CutePDF and have had no problems with this putting in unwanted info. It sounds like it might be the likes of a banner being inserted by the application.
