Faith of any kind is always broken because of laziness or selfishness. Sometimes it just becomes easy to betray bonds and people don't have the strength to do the right thing. Then the second party has to decide how much effort they want to put into the equation. It is never one sided. Anyone how forsakes a bond just because the other side had a lapse is just as lazy and selfish.

Sometimes if someone has faith in you the expectation can become a burden.
