Do you want us to believe that people on Bangladesh side of the border with India are set ready for "On your mark - get set- go" and goes for 100m sprint when the BSF is looking otherwise? That means there are regular trespasses of thousands of Bangladeshis into India since there are rumor of ‘honey and milk’ flowing over there?

I am sure that you are aware of the situation prevailing in other International Borders where relatives are divided when the nations fall apart, this is not a new phenomenon across our borders only. Apart from villagers in borders areas the trespassers are also the smugglers. The law of demand and supply is at work whenever there is a 'potential difference" created for say Diesel, Sugar, Engg items like Ball Bearings etc which are mostly Imported items in Bangladesh and cheaper than those are in India. So to our knowledge only the smugglers and a few distraught people are regularly crossing borders and this has been going on for many years now.

Thanks to your print and electronic media who instead of reporting a news go a few steps ahead and allow them to be used as propaganda machine of your government and intelligence agencies to malign countries not agreeing with their dictate.

First it was Western part of Pakistan where your government would create tension so did the Pakistani government so that they focus of its population remain ‘external’ and they can milk the countrymen. India and Pakistan nurtured the hatred for about 60 years now. Then came Sri Lanka’s turn in early 1980s when successive Indian Government helped the Tamils and doomed peace if SL for good now. Your smart successive Government pacified Nepal for many years who are now trying to exert their voice irrespective of what India would do to them. Bhutan is a country who has given their defence and other responsibilities contracted out to India and there is peace. The remaining countries and Maldives and Bangladesh. Indian government conducted well when our Ex-PM Sk. Hasina was in power from 1996 to 2001 and also when her father Sk. Mujib was in power from 1972 to 1975.

Had there been influx of people illegally crossing over to India from Bangladesh then the private TV channels which are over half-a-dozen in Bangladesh and over one-dozen in India could have made a lot of documentation. Have you ever seen anything that would substantiate your claim? Your government knows it very well and gives this ‘problem’ the priority it deserves, no matter what sentiment they would whip up for your domestic consumption.

Sorry for causing you discomfort and this is not my intention at all. I do hope that we somehow get the time machine and pass the 60-year barrier with India and become good friends, like India and Pakistan has come to the point now.

PS. Please be good and kind enough and do not start attack on me along with your pack of Y!A Users from your country of over one-billion people (we are merely 150 million) who are more or less hell bent to make enemy out of poor-Bangladesh (lol)

GOI is interested in sealing the Indo-Bangladesh border but it is practically NOT possible for any 1 to seal it. All seals cracks. You can stop elephant but you can NOT stop rats from crossing border. Monkeys can jump anywhere. You can NOT send monkeys to forests.
