to set out the trash (at the curb)!
If someone was supposed to do this in your family and they forgot, do you do it for them or leave it for them to try to set it out the next week? My husband or oldest is supposed to switch out responsibilities of setting it out to the curb and sometimes they both forget and the question is should I run out there in the cold and do it for them if they both forgot?!
I would be leaving the baby in the house alone while I dragged it out, so I don't really feel like that is right either?

What do you think is the right thing to do?

I think we are here to help each other out. I think you should take the trash if you can and especially if it is so full that it is going to be problem to wait until the next time.

But what I suggest, that make a deal with them that if you need to do it when they forgot, then you get to do something for yourself by your self or with your friends and they look after the family. Or this is something you do not want to do, then they should do some of your chores, you get to pick.

When I was staying at home with my daughter when she was small, I had one evening off. I used to go to see movies by myself. I loved it, and by the time the movie was over, I missed her already terribly.

If my b/f forgets, I take it out. I don't want to attract mice and in the summer the smell can be overwhelming to leave it for 2 weeks.
