That appears to have been the plan from the start. No bid contracts were there for his friends like Halliburton/Cheney right from the start. All the weapons manufacturers have been helping themselves to the US Treasury to the tune of $3 billion every week. Business is booming, pardon the pun, so why would they want to slow down now. 500,000 barrels of Iraqi oil goes missing every day on our watch, so someone is making a killing on the black market, tax free. If you were BushOilCo or any of his business friends, would you want this to end?

Who told you those companies are weapons manufacturers. Dang, do just a little research before you make a statement. Halliburton is a logistics firm, Carlyle does work for the Defence Department in research, and Bechtel is an engineering firm.
Now lets see who is benefiting. Boeing, Mc Donald Douglas, General Dynamics, Lockheed, and folks like them make the weapons.

You left out the individuals who are very rich and are getting richer as each day goes by. Just because a few soldiers have to die in the process is no big thing. It's very true though about Halliburton and the rest. Our Vice President seems to want us to think he has nothing to do with these people anymore and we're expected to buy into that crap. Him, Bush, the Bush family, and his rich friends in Texas are all getting rich off his administration. The Texas Cartel is who is running the show anyway and always have been.

It also benefits specialty weapons makers and vest makers and it takes the avg. Americans mind off the fact that hundreds of thousands of Iraqi's are dead in this war so we could pull the US out of recession with a war that has been renamed for it's objects 4 times.LOL, If this were all a book, I'd say it's just too far-fetched and fictional to be believable...lol

He did entertain different bids... in reality Halliburton became no longer the only business enterprise to get contracts. Bush presided over the biggest shift from government artwork to settlement artwork that ever existed! learn!
