I am a single parent with three children to take care of. We have suffered for 5 years before getting this job. We are now living a standard life but the sexual harassment in the office puts me off. If I resign, it will be bad for my family. Please advise.

There are laws against sexual harassment. Why don't you report this issue to authorities? Of course make sure you have proof as well as witnesses, if you want a strong case. You shouldn't have to resign because of sexual harassment; those harassing you should be fired and even prosecuted.

Talk to someone. CAB (if you are in the UK) might be a start. Or talk to a woman's group - one who has experience in advising on sexual harrassment cases.

The only thing I can observe is that it is much easier to find work once you are in work. Think about that.

You don't give any details about the sexual harrassment. Is it provable? Can you document it? Start warning the perpetrator- you'd have to have your head in a hole these days not to know the danger of sexually harrassing someone at work.

What do you mean by "sexual harassment?" Who is saying or doing what to whom? Is there a Human Resources officer at your company?

If you want it to stop you have to report it every time it happens. There are laws against repercussions for reporting harassment as well, so don't be afraid to say something. Think of your kids.

depending on the job you have ,there should be somebody you can talk to . Tell it to your boss and if they have a Human resours person that would be the best one to go to . Document it and see what he/they will do about it .or a close friend in the office
