A positive integer subtracting a negative integer, we add them tgt and take the sign which is on the one with the higher value.
So it goes like this:
0.8 - ( - 6.4 ) = 0.8 + 6.4 = 7.2

You can't take a step that is a negative distance. Even if you step backwards, you still took one step.
In this problem, you need the distance (always positive) from the wall to the ground, .8, the distance from the ground to the water, 6.4 (postive!) -- and you just add em up.
