I'd recommend a wired solution, in case you want to watch high definition (HD) videos from your PC on the XBox.
Furthermore, you won't need to buy the wireless adapter.
If you have a router with wich you connect your PC or Xbox to the internet, you are already set. Just connect both your PC and the Xbox to your router with a so called network patch cable.
If you only want to connect your PC and Xbox and don't have a Router or switch, you need to connect PC and Xbox with a "Crossover network cable".
A wired network ist almost 2 times faster than the fastest wireless solution (currently available for Xbox) .
If you don't want HD Video Content from your PC on the Xbox a wireless solution is more convenient, but also more expensive.
As soon as both devices are connected, your Media Center PC will tell you it found a Xbox and will guide you step by step through all neccesary settings.

Get the wireless adaptor for the 360 and a wireless router. It's very easy to set up. I have mine set up that way and got it all up and running in about 10 mins.
The only setback is High Definition video does not stream very well wirelessly to the 360 and tends to skip quite a lit.

I would suggest you buy Wireless card for your 360.
Also a Router 40$ in walmart. You don't need a wireless card to your PC if you want the router to be near your computer.
After that just follow below link

Good luck
