Eat a cube of jelly everyday! Any flavour, works a treat. Its because the jelly has gelatine in it and it helps to strengthen your nails. Tried and tested - it works!

The Sally Hansen nail product line, as mentioned, is really good. Use the strengthener, the polish (polish helps stengthen nails), and i use the oil (lots of times nails break because they are dried out). Personally i take some fiber (the chewable tablets) every day, and i have noticed a huge difference in nail strength since i started. And of course calcium helps as well. It is about protecting your nails and having the proper nutrients in your body to keep them healthy. Even then... you can't fight the genes you carry that influence nail strength and growth.

Hi I had the same problem a few months ago and I recommend the Sally Hansen range from boots, about £5 - £8 / bottle and it lasts ages. The nailgrowth miracle is good to start you off and then move on to the silver bottle nail strengthener it really is good. BUT you must use it regularly and I eat lots of cashew nuts with pumpkin seeds - sounds weird but it works!

My mom used to have that problem. She used this nail polish nail strengthener polish. It worked! This one had beads in the top part. She bought it from Wal Greens. If that doesn't help go to a local Nail Salon and ask them what is best around your area.

Sally Hansen's nail strengthener polishes are good although from experience I prefer Nails Inc protein treatment. A beauty therapist once said to me "Treat your nails as jewels, not tools". That is such good advice. I use my nails for alsorts... and then wonder why they break!!

Start by going to get a manicure, they can then advise you on really good products to strengthen your nails as there are many products available. A good cuticle cream is always advised as this helps to keep the nail nourished from when it starts to grow.
But a manicure is defiantly the way forward to stronger nails.

Try Mavala Scientifique. It's a Swiss product that has been on the market for years. It bonds the different nail layers together, so you apply is once a week. This is so that the nail that must still grow out is properly bonded and not break. It really works!
