~!
Why should we be concerned about natures environment ?
On this planet their are millions of eco-systems.
Outside of this planet in the vastness of space - So far there is no other sign of life !
We should protect what we have as it is special - so special that we may yet find that we are unique in the universe. Our quality of life depends on all the combined natural resources animal and mineral and without them we would not survive past 6 months !
Our planet is regulated by the environment - wind, sea , rain , sun and natural habitation all have an effect on the economy and whether we live or starve.
After a catastrophic event " global Killer " meteorite. Nature would start over with microbes and over a 100 million years another species will come to dominate the planet - spiders or snakes perhaps - i favour reptiles cos they have developed the most adaptive survival strategies ; e.g they can change sex in a single sex environment; recently a komodo dargon concieved in a zoo without any sexual activity.
As they say "life will always find a way " !!

I don't think it's as much a matter of worrying, but of realizing. If a friend lends you a game of his, you pay attention to it, even whether you the game have existed before you know it and is going to exist after you leave it. I do think it's a matter of respecting something like nature, especially as we are so minute compared with.

True. Nature will survive whatever we throw at it. Lots of species will die, perhaps even humans, but life will continue regardless of whether we survive or not.

Because we are spoiling nature, so nature will kill us more ferociously, more quickly. We care not for its sake but for our egoistic sake!

It's in our own interest. Nature might recover, but we could be gone.
