Because the whole point of Yahoo Answers is to find ANSWERS to whatever you want to find out. Its a place to find out things and discover what you've always wanted to know. This place has the answers for you.... and also "Yahoo Answers" sounds a bit better than "Yahoo Questions" or "Yahoo Questions and Answers"...

I am guessing that they adopted the idea from 'Google Answers".
The only difference is that you pay $2.00 each question and your questions are answered by real professionals according to the category you are asking, unlike here... lots of weirdos and what-not! LOL!!!!
I have heard about that Google Answers some almost a year ago and I don't know if it is ever true or ever existed.

To get an answer first you must ask a question. It's obvious . that is the reason it is called Yahoo answers...

Good point.... got no idea ... can't have one without the other ... strange.
People search the questions to get answers so both are equally as important I guess..... although people come here to get answers... now I'm confused.
