For the X-Box it has a slot for RJ-45 cables, these cables are the same ones that are used to connect different computers to each other to form a Network. You can go in a computer store and ask for such cables.

For the PS2 you first need a Network Card. These are like expansions to the PS2 in order to allow broadband internet access to PS2, after buying that, it's pretty similar to how to connect the X-Box to the internet.

Lastly though, you don't just plug in those cables and expect it to immediately work. You need to refer to the instruction manuals of the specific console in order for the console to understand how to access the internet from that cable.
