Nope as much as they like to think so it is a trained habit. I'm gonna get hammered on this but if a child is raised in a way that takes away his masculinity away he will turn out to be gay, also at young age a child can be affected by someone messing with the child therefore making him for apt to be gay. I know many men that has happened to and they turned gay, as well women treating men with disdain can cause them to lose their masculine identity and will be more apt to be gay. Don't listen to the physobabble rap that it don't.

Well, most gay people are born to heterosexual parents, and most gay parents have non-gay children, so it's not strictly hereditary. But it is generally accepted now that it is genetic, which is a little different.
