To me, the Golden Globes mean absolutely nothing. This is a contrived awards show that foreign critics put on just to get some pub for themselves. That having been said, if there is going to be an award, he deserved it.

I haven't seen it. I don't see why it's a controversy. Obviously, if he was nominated, he must have talent. I just haven't seen it because it isn't my sense of comedy. I hate slapstick humour. Give me some black humour, cheesiness, horror, stupidity, blood, literary irony, sarcasm, that kind of thing. I was watching Jimmy Kimmel last night and the guy is flat, boring and has poor timing. Not interesting at all. We're not talking Stanley Kubrick, Ben Stiller, Quentin Tarantino, Richard Pryor, Howard Stern or Eddie Murphy here. No bite to it at all.
