Im not too sure what kind of spots you are talking about in particular. I have a cream called 'correctique green'. It is a product of Nutrimedics. This cream minimizes red spots and is fairly good at covering freckles and some minor scaring or deep dents. It works best when teamed up with a tinted moisturiser and concealer. I use Nivea moisturiser, toner and facial scrub everyday. It keeps my skin soft and smooth. I follow this with an everyday tinted moisturiser with spf 15+ to offer my skin some protection from the sun. Try using a facial scrub at least once a week, and make sure you moisturise no matter what skin type you are. Lack of moisture in the skin tends to cause oilyness. There's nothing worse than a shiny greasy face. I hope this helps.

Fruit Masque for dehydrated skin:
Ingredients:
1 cup of mixed mashed fruit (try melon, peaches, strawberries, and bananas)
2-3 Tbsp. Double cream
3 tsp. cottage cheese
1 tsp. brown sugar
4 tsp. oatmeal powder
Blend all the ingredients together and apply on your face. Relax for ten minutes, and rinse off with warm water.
The luscious combination of cream and juicy fruits works wonders after a hot day in the sun and helps refresh the skin.

I think you need to see your dermatologist or a doctor. The creams that are available in shops are just gimmicks and the homemade beauty treatment don't yield very good results for this purpose. You can also try microdermabrasion or a galvanic facial. These treatments are readily available at all good beauty salons and will help to reduce spots and make your complexion much more even and bright. Good luck!
