Okay, I have this friend. She has the same first name as me, but she goes by the nickname "Mandy". When I first met her she was great, and I thought we'd be best friends, but then I found out she was using me to get phone numbers from the guys I worked with. I forgave her because I'm just a nice person, but now she's changed her nickname to MY nickname, and she married this soldier guy, and wants to move to Denmark where I am planning on moving to so I can be with my fiance. Is this creepy to anyone else?? She calls me constantly and I never answer my phone because of her.

By the way, I haven't really "talked" to her in months simply because she's so clingy. She has lots of other friends but she seems obsessed with me.

Tell her your not going to Denmark now and that your boyfriend
is coming home.
When you have made your plans to move - head for the hills
and don,t look back.
You won,t get rid of her - she sounds weird..

Well, being married to a soldier will limit where she can move to...It sounds like she is desperate for your approval and wants to be your friend badly enough to do and say anything. I'd chalk it up to immaturity, but if it really bothers you,sit her down and give her a reality check. Tell her where you see the friendship going if she keeps acting all nutsy, then give yourself a few months of separation so she can have time to form a new perspective. You might find out you still want to be friends after that, or more suprisingly, she might find out you're not all that and a bag of chips, sista'! At any rate, you gotta shake things up.

In today's world anything's possible so be careful always. I find it hard to trust anyone cause who knows what's their motive to be friendly. However, you may want to give the benefit of the doubt to your friend since you thought that "you two could be best of friends". By the way, your gut feelings should not be underestimated so do your home work to give yourself some piece of mind. Maybe she is going through some problem and just needs some help.

Hope this helps!! ;)
