It is rumoured that the WWE wanted Micheals to win it since it is in his hometown of San Antonio Texas. But he refused so now the plan is to either let The Undertaker win it or Randy Orton.

They are building the storyline for the Undertaker versus Batista in the Main Event at WM 23. For that to happen, the Undertaker has to be the number one contender. Which would have to happen from the Royal Rumble victory.
The way they are building it up, Edge, Orton, and HBK will keep each other from winning.

I would have to say Undertaker, I wish Shawn would win it, but I don't think they are going to give him the title shot just yet, I beleive they will though, after the other story lilnes die down a little bit. It would be a perfect scenraio to build up on, if Shawn won the title and then Triple H, being the kind of guy that wants "his" title, goes after it afterwards, but instead of a match that they are enemies, it would be cool out of freindly competition, therefore, it won't ruin the DX legacy

Okay, the Great Khali is going to win because the need a big man to go up against John Cena since Triple H is now gone. Triple H was supposed to wrestle John at Wrestle Mania, but since his injury they had to bring another big man.

i think the showstoppa becuase
1. last monday he was left in the ring between orton, flair, carlito and kenny
2. The showstoppa is back
3. It in his hometown
4. It will be like stone cold 3 times winner of royal rumble
5. He is not letting randy and edge win because he is still angry at them because triple h hurt :-D

Andre the Giant, they dug him up two weeks ago and revived him. He has been training and will make a surprise apearance and win the Rumble. WWE had to do this as everything else on WWE TV sucks right now.
