does anyone else have this problem? i hate it.
just because i wear skinny jeans and have lots of eye liner on doesnt mean i am an emo. its just what i am. and if that means wearing skinny jeans and eye liner, so be it!

This is a normal human condition. I mean that it's the first thing we see. The good/bad thing is that looks can be very deceiving. Have you ever come across someone who you thought was a bad person? only to find out that better person you could not find.
Don't worry about it. Just make sure you are one of the persons that they are in awe about because ...........You are beautiful when they get to know you!!

I wouldn't worry about people like that, they're not worth you giving them the time of day. The first time I died my hair black, I had people call out to me at school, and out of car windows, abusing me for being a 'Freak' (which is actually the reason I ended up a 'Goth' in the first place). People will always judge others without getting to know them first, it is an unfortunate fact of human behaviour. The shallow people of the world will see something, and if they don't understand it, then they will try to stomp on it! Their the one's with the problem, not you. Saying that someone wearing skinny jeans and lots of eye-liner must be an Emo, is like saying that a person working in a french resturant must be French! They're just idiots, and if I were you, I wouldn't give people like that a second thought, because You Are BETTER Than That! Wear your skinny jeans and and mass amounts of eye-iner with pride, and just hold your head up high, because you are who know who you are, and you are beautiful. Take care :)

It is human nature to judge someone by appearance, the way they speak and sometimes the car they drive and the house they live in. If you are in sales or trying to impress then you need to put on a " show ". If you just want to be you....go for it and to heck with them.

Most all people have this problem, we judge by what we see on the outside of a person, and I am afraid that will never change, just treasure the people in your life that excepts you as you are..

appearance is unfortunately the first impression and nthg can change that. stop caring about it, wear yr eye liner+jeans and if the look at u, smile at them ironically.
