Is it worth going to and what are the average prices for a meal there, is it best to wait until we get to Sydney to book or do that before we leave England.

I belive ya get what ya pay for... and found Doyle's worth it.
They have their own Family fishing fleet....... so they catch their own and your only serverd fresh seafood.
I havent walked away from there feeling hungry, and the beach front makes it a place to eat at with good company.
They also have a take away aswell on the wharf just in case ya want to eat fish and chips but cheaper and well its take away but yummo.

They also have a restaurant on the far end of the internationl terninal @ the Quay and another at the Sydney Fish Markets thou Watsons Bay is a bit more traquil so ya can hear the waves lapping onto the beach.
You can book while your here, that way you can have the weather on your side.
BTW they have a flounder/sole dish that if you finish the whole fish meal ya can get another for free.
And enjoy your stay in Sydney, and also try Coogee Beach theres also a value for money fish and chip shop and a good place to eat it too.
Bon Appatitto

It is worth it but it isn't cheap. You can book in advance, check their website
http://www.doyles.com.au/
Entrees $16 to $18
Mains $35 to $50
Add dessert, wine and a tip and you are looking at perhaps $100 a head.
