That is nauseating. She should be in jail for life. If her husband had done this he'd probably be on death row. But part of me can't help but be surprised, what with abortion being legal in so many Western nations nowadays. Before birth babies are seen as non-entities. There are even some who think infanticide should be legal up to a month after birth. A crime like hers, committed in a moral climate like that....well, a lenient sentence isn't much of a surprise.
