Why do the left seem to spend more time fighting each other than fighting the capitalists?

I am a lefty and I am a capitalist, to a point. Liberalism and capitalism are not opposites. the opposite of Capitalism is Communism. A pure capitalist believes that capital (money) is the greatest good while communism teaches that community is the greater good. Both can have good and bad results depending on the outside influences most especially greed and jealousy.

Where the problem comes in is in the belief by many that the pursuit of capital should come at whatever cost (greed). In other words no matter that that the pursuit should ruin the environment or destroy human rights and lives it is OK because profit is a far higher cause than people.

Also in this spectrum is socialism where property and the distribution of wealth are subject to social control. this term scares the heck out of many capitalists primarily because they do not understand it.

Capitalism made this Country great you marooon! The Left is afraid to take on Conservatives because their economic entitlement positions can only be financed by Capitalists - the very people they seek to defeat.

Because if they defeat capitalism then our economy will die. We will be at the mercy of an inefficient government. We will have little motivation to succeed because the government will take from those who work hard and succeed and give to those who sit around and whine.
