Overall, I do. I'm still madly in love with my wife and I have two great kids.
On the other hand, I'm in Iraq, and I've seen some horrifying things done to innocent people by terrorists. There is a dark side- an evil- in our world, and it is scary.
But all in all, life has been good. I want to travel more (well, less to war zones), and continue to experience the good things God has created. I want to get back to skiing, and spend more time outdoors.
My faith is what gives me the most hope, and helps me to see people as loved by God. It's hard when you see them do horrific things, but God is forgiving because we need it sometimes, frankly.

Life has shown me how to handle a stillbirth, a miscarriage, a drunken drug-addicted husband, betrayal, divorce, single motherhood, parental desertion, and non-committing partners. I think I can safely say that the things life has shown me the last few years SUCK!!!!!!
