No, you do not need the SAT in order to get into a community college. They do not require the SAT. In fact, that's one of the advantages of a cc.*
As for other types of 2-year colleges - it depends on the school. But in general, no, the SAT is not required.
You can check the websites of the schools you are considering. You will see that none of the cc's require SATs.
*Note that most 4-year, Bachelor's degree granting colleges do require the SAT. However, most of them make an exception for students who have an Associates degree. So, if you go to cc, you don't need to take the SAT. Then if you decide to transfer, you STILL won't need to take the SAT!

If you're in high school about 90 percent of the community colleges/ 2 year colleges still want them. If your out of high school and have your ged then no they don't ask you for them.
Some collges have taken away SAT but almost all of them still want to see your sat scores.
