me and my faincee have been engaged sinve june30 2006 and we are expecting out first child in march. Latley i thinkk he has been acting weired and ive asked if there is anything wrong and he says no but i think there really is. I feel bad casue i feel like im doing something wrong. when we first got together we wanted to be together all the time he was so loving and caring and would do anything for me now its totally diffrent all he cares about is money! and it drives me nuts.i love him so much and i just wish he would show more affection twords me and advice on how to get him to show it or how to confront him about all this? i love him so much and if there is something wrong i want to know, and he works nights and hes been sleeping alot like he tries to avoid me!

I think that he is just facing the reality of the situation. Like he realises the way his life will change once the baby arrives and once you marry so he focusses on his work to get his mind off it. Communication is the key. Speak to him and tell him you are willing to compromise to make it work. Thats the only way you will know. I think that having this new baby is putting a lot of pressures on him. He is already thinking about the responsibilities ahead. He might be very stressed right now thinking about the expenses in the near future. You may be with a very responsible man who is taking charge of your future together. By working a lot and consequently making some money, he is showing you his love and dedication to you and this new addition to your relationship. I am pretty sure he loves you and thinks that he is showing you by working hard. Show him that you are there for him and that he won't be the only one struggling and that you are in it together. Whenever you get to spend time together, make the best of it. Do not stress him out by telling him that you are unhappy because he obviously cares about you and you future baby. Make the best of your time when you are together.

he is showing his love by working and saving money so he can support you and your child. Maybe you should be less selfish and realize that money to pay for formula is now more important than spending every minute together.
