She offends somebody everytime she opens her big mouth. If she hadn't of said half those things and acted the way she did on BB, then the media couldn't pick on her could they? So its all her own doing.

No one should be offended or surprised by Jade Goodys' behaivour on this latest trashy TV show. She has been televised at length for a number of years and has consistantly proved to be foul mouthed obnoxious and utterly ignorant of anything outside her own very limited sphere. This woman was born and raised in England yet did not even know that Cambridge or Norfolk were also in England. How can she then be expected to respect cultures or sensitivities of people from a different continent?
Her mother was also no surprise.
Jade Goody is simply a media toy who has skilled agents promoting her. She has no talent and a very small brain.
She also appears to have won herself a free holiday to India. No doubt this will also be filmed and shown on some cable TV channel.
It would be unfair to blame Ms Goody for being stupid, she is stupid! She was born and raised and educated that way.
Anyway if it wasn't her on TV and in the papers acting like an ignorant guttersnipe and being paid for it, then it would be someone else, the media circus needs enemies and heroes.

The media have seen the opportunity to sell loads of papers by whipping up a scandal, as they always do. Just how obnoxious was it to read in some newspapers those screaming headlines about racism, when these are the same journals who pronounce that all those 'immigrants' should clear off home as we don't want them in the UK? As usual, nothing but cant and hypocrisy from the British press.
If the three protagonists are guilty of anything it is of being inordinately ignorant. They behaved like bullies in a playground and the Indian lady reacted with as much grace as she could muster. One hopes that Ms Goody's trip to India as announced recently will help expand her mind and remove misconceptions she might hold. No doubt she will take a film crew...

Jade will have gone through a painful learning curve and hopefully she will have the good sense to learn from her mistakes. However, I think that others should take their fair share of the blame including the glamourous Shipla. Did anyone see her quitely mouthing to Jade telling her to F..ck Off. No one has ever mentioned this not one person!
Yes I blame the media, our education system or lack of it and discipline in this country. You can tell people how you feel about them without barnstorming home your point. Learning how to be subtle is a good thing instead of indulging in yob culture.
None of it was racist. This word is used all too easily these days.

Yeah, I think it developed into a bit of a witch hunt too. Jade was out of order, but it was hardly the crime of the century was it - surely Shilpa is old enough to take some bitching from another woman, we have all had to - at some point. Shilpa didn't handle the situation very well and I think that also fuelled the race hate accusations. Shilpa should have been more of a woman and stand up for herself against Jade and the others more assertively.

I just think this has all been blown out of proportion by the media. Did anyone say anything when Jamaine called Jade White Trash? I don't recall it hitting the headlines and to me I class that as a racist comment.
Girls can be quite nasty when they get together. I think this was just a case of three girls getting on, and one girl they didn't like and it went from there. To a degree I thought it was calssed as bullying but the media definatly blew it all out of proportion.

I don't belive Jade was trying to be offensive. I think Jade and her Mum lack the intelligence and education to understand that their actions could be perceived by others to be offensive and/or racist.
I also believe that an unfortunate mixture of media sh*t stirring and political correctness has blown the situation out of proportion.
Furthermore, I think Jade had a problem with the fact that Shilpa is intelligent, educated, and has more style and dignity than she could ever hope to have, not the fact that she is Indian and has different colour skin and a different accent.

I never saw BB, but i heard one of the complains was that she used an Indian accent. If using an Indian accent is really racist, why haven't those 40,000 people complained to the ASA about the potnoodle adverts that takes the piss out of the Welsh?
i blame the people who buy the newspapers , not the media
They only print this stuff to sell papers. If people did'n't buy them, they wouldn't print it.
Look at the headline. Do i want to read about that ? No ? don't buy it then !
I still chuckle when i think about 4 million people buying the "Sun" to read about how bad the paparatzi are......The UK population need to engage brains rather than blame the media.

it is all a load of hype jade has done nothing wrong don't get me wrong i don't like her very much but give the girl a break if you look back to the last big brother schbaz took a lot more abuse and no one said a thing . if there were not so many Indians in this country there would be nothing said. also do you think no said anything about schbaz because he was gay we all know Indians view on this .

I think she may have offended people but its not just her, Danielle and Jo are just as bad!Its definately alot to do with the media. They want everyone to hate Jade but if anything happens to her their stories will change and they will say how great she was and that she was just naive and stupid!
