Is it possible to construct a mobile phone signal receiver with J2ME language?

I mean i have a common receiver that receives all the signals within a particular radius and i need to write a J2me program that extracts only the mobile number from that signal to feed to a computer for further computations... S it possible to write??? If so, send me the coding.. Coz i hav no idea abt J2Me language...

If it is a radio receiver, then you will not be able to extract any information. All the data between the base station and mobiles is encrypted - both the speech circuit and the signalling traffic.
