here fr means france like (in) means india

Go here: http://edit.europe.yahoo.com/config/mail?.intl=fr

and sign up for a Yahoo! france email account.

It is too easy. Just when you are making your new email add just choose France as your country like you do for India then you can get fr in your email id. That's all dear.

Just select your country to be France. Then you would mails id with .fr
