indeed, that is pathetic.
They are even talking about the fact thet we have NO snow in our area.
i.e. there is "news" that this is a normal day

We've had a couple of centimetres in New Malden, Surrey and my boys were over the moon!! The little one has not seen it before and we had huge fun taking the eldest round to school and throwing the 'toe' about as my youngest calls it! Now I'm at work and wishing I'd taken the day off, kept them home and gone to play in the snow with the dog at Richmond Park or something!

I'm in Bromley - we had about 2 inches!
One of the best feelings in the world is waking up to snow. Swiftly followed by one of the worst when you realise you're not 8 years old, your smart work shoes have no grip and you have to commute upto London...!
But the kids next door looked like they were having fun!

In Leicestershire it is 2cm deep in the village I live but just barely a sprinkle in the town where I work and thats only 1 mile from where I live.

I'm in the Midlands we have snow but NOT ENOUGH! Why does it never snow like it used to? When it was up to your knee's and you could make snowman and have snowballs fights, ah those were the days....

When I looked outside at midnight we had a light covering. By this morning, we just have ice and frost.

In the part of Middlesex that I'm in, it's about 0.5cm deep and melting rapidly. Not very impressive really!
