name - don't put CV at the top, we know what it is.
address
contact phone numbers + email address

brief 2 line pen portrait - you can change this for every job you apply for if you like. "Experienced manager with a history of..... etc"

professional qualifications (that's the ones that mean you can put letters after you name)

career history - list who what and when, with a brief description of your responsibilities.

other qualifications / training received

interests - not that anyone will pay any notice to it.

SPELL CHECK IT

and then finally send it in a stiff backed A4 envelope so it isn't all creased up when they read it.

Hi there heres what I learnt from a cv instruction book from college !!!

do a self assesment write down your skills/personal qualities/physical qualitiesinterests!

Now you can start!

*Put ure name address etc in the top right corner.
*Now write personal profile as a subheading.
*Write a small paragraph about ureself using ure self assesment notes.
*Now write skills and achievements as subheading.
*List ure achievements and skills.
*Then write work experience as subheading.
*list work experience putting last job first and date them.
*write education as subheading and list it.
*write additional information and add list of things like ure date of *birth marital status, interests, full driving liscence.

Now u r done!!!
