We have seen many movies about WW2 but there are so few of them about the Great War. I would appreciate if someone could mention a good flick or two regarding it, specially about 100 day Somme Offensive, if there is any.

one of the best films ever about WW1 is the film. All is Quiet on the Western Front, it tell the story from the germans side.
There is also the recent film about Christmas and iys name escapes me , i think it is Joy Noel, if there was ever a story about ww1 this is it
